About the project
Raíz y Obra exists so that people doing important work, whom the world does not yet know, have a place where their story is told.
What we publish
We publish portraits, which tell the life and work of one person, and family stories, which tell the path of a family. We care about where each person comes from, what they do and why their work matters to others. We do not publish résumés or lists of achievements.
Why
Today, when someone wants to know who a person is, they ask a search engine or an AI assistant. Many valuable people appear nowhere, or are confused with someone else. Every story on Raíz y Obra is written so that people and machines can clearly recognise who it is about and what role that person plays in the world.
With consent
No story is published without the express written consent of the person or family it is about. Before publication, they review and approve the text in Spanish and in English. Anyone may ask for their story to be corrected or removed at any time, and we will do so promptly.
In two languages
Every story is published in Spanish and English, so it can be read anywhere in the world.
